The structure, dating from the 16th century and known as Casa de la Limpia, underwent restoration between 2001 and 2003 before opening as Profética.
The venue maintains a collection of thirteen thousand literary titles and hosts regular presentations, conferences, and exhibitions throughout the year.
Located at 3 Sur 701, the center opens Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The establishment includes a free public library specializing in literature while functioning as a commercial bookstore with independent publishing selections.
