Teatro Principal

Teatro Principal is a baroque theatre building located in central Puebla featuring ornate decorations on both its exterior and interior surfaces. The structure showcases the architectural style typical of 18th-century Mexican construction, blending classical design with elaborate embellishments.

The building was founded in 1761 and became the first performing arts venue of its kind in Mexico, establishing its historical significance. Following a fire in 1902, extensive reconstruction restored the structure to continued use.
