Museo El Rehilete, Interactive science museum in Pachuca, Mexico

The museum spans 25,000 square meters with four levels in a 24-sided polygonal structure resembling an inverted mine shaft in central Pachuca.

Established in 1997 as a government initiative, the museum expanded its facilities with a planetarium from 1993 and an observatory added in January 1999.

The museum entrance features a mural titled Municipal Freedom while a second mural, Science Technology and Children, was created by Armando Peñafiel in 2014.

The facility includes temporary exhibitions, art spaces, energy displays, optics demonstrations, technology exhibits, water science sections, and astronomical observation areas.

The exterior grounds contain a DC-3 aircraft, a specialized fire station learning area, and a 9,000-square-meter dinosaur park opened in 2009.
