Museo El Rehilete, Interactive science museum in Pachuca, Mexico
Museo El Rehilete is an interactive science museum in central Pachuca with multiple exhibition levels housed in a distinctive polygonal building. The facility features sections dedicated to energy, optics, water science, technology, and astronomical observation.
The museum began operating in 1997 as a public initiative to promote science education. Additional facilities including a planetarium and astronomical observatory were incorporated to expand its offerings.
The museum spaces reflect a focus on hands-on learning and discovery for all ages. People come here to experience science in an interactive way rather than just reading about it.
The museum is organized across multiple levels with different interactive zones that visitors can explore at their own pace. It helps to spend time trying the various stations and demonstrations throughout the facility.
The grounds feature a vintage DC-3 aircraft from the 1950s that visitors can actually walk through and explore. Adjacent to this is a large dinosaur park with various reconstructed prehistoric creatures.
