The museum opened on July 9, 2011, with Mexico's President Felipe Calderon, Chile's President Sebastian Pinera, and FIFA President Joseph Blatter attending the ceremony.
Visitors transform into players upon arrival, starting their journey through the FIFA tunnel with sensory experiences combining audio and visual elements.
The museum operates Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with guided tours lasting between two and five hours through the multiple interactive stations.
The facility includes a human foosball court, virtual goalkeeper challenges, television studios, and a mini stadium for hands-on soccer experiences.
