Torre Avalanz

Torre Avalanz is a high-rise residential and office building with 43 floors above ground featuring a modern glass and steel structure in San Pedro Garza García. The complex includes multiple levels below ground and provides substantial infrastructure to support residents, workers, and visitors.

The project began in 1981 as a technology center but evolved into a mixed residential and office complex during construction. Its completion around 2000 represented a significant moment in the modernization of the surrounding district.

The tower shapes the skyline of San Pedro Garza García with its glass facade and represents the neighborhood's shift toward a contemporary business center. Its distinctive profile has become a landmark that reflects how the area has transformed over the decades.

The building offers ample parking and multiple elevators to move easily between levels for all users. Visitors should note that underground levels extend below the main structure, adding to the overall size and functionality.

The structure was designed by Mexican architect Agustín Landa Vértiz and shows an uncommon blend of residential and office uses within a single tower. This mixed-use approach was unconventional for the region at the time and influenced how later projects in the area were conceived.
