Torre Comercial America, Office building in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico
Torre Comercial America is a 30-story office tower standing 128 meters tall in the Valle Oriente district. The structure combines concrete, aluminum, and glass panels in a contemporary design.
The building opened in 1989 as Torre Margen before changing ownership due to financial difficulties. Businessman Alfonso Romo acquired it and renamed it Torre Comercial America.
The building displays red upside-down angel sculptures on its facade that stand out against conventional Mexican design traditions. These artworks shape how people perceive the structure when they pass by.
The building includes seven underground parking levels and operates on weekday business hours. Visitors should plan their visit during regular business days since weekend and holiday access may be limited.
The tower houses several financial institutions across its floors, serving as a hub for insurance and financial services. This concentration of banking operations makes it a significant center for the local business community.
