Villahermosa México Temple

The temple features white marble from Torreón on its exterior walls and includes a single spire topped with an angel Moroni statue.

The temple commenced construction in January 1999 following its announcement by Gordon B. Hinckley and opened its doors to the public in May 2000.

The temple serves 23,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tabasco region for religious ceremonies and gatherings.

The temple provides clothing at no cost for baptistry participants and maintains a distribution center for purchasing temple garments and religious items.

The temple contains two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms within its 10,700 square feet of space, reaching a height of 71 feet.
