Devon Energy Tower

The Devon Energy Tower is a 36-floor office building rising above Smith Street with a three-sided footprint and glass and steel exterior. The structure contains more than a million square feet of office space serving multiple corporate tenants.

The building opened in 1978 under the name Two Allen Center before taking on its current identity. This structure played a role in shaping downtown Houston's evolving profile during the late 20th century.

A six-story glass rotunda with interior balconies serves as the central meeting space for business functions and gatherings. The open design makes the building's interior activity visible from the street and creates a sense of connection between outside and inside.
