Round Island Light

Round Island Light is a brick lighthouse in Pascagoula that stands alongside U.S. Route 90 with a white tower and black lantern chamber at its top. The building displays original construction features and architectural details that remain visible to visitors today.

The lighthouse was built in 1859 and guided ships through Mississippi Sound for over a century before being destroyed by a storm in 1998. It was later restored and relocated to its current location near the highway.
