Tamiami Park is a large public park in Miami-Dade County, Florida, located just south of Florida International University in the Westchester neighborhood. It contains sports fields, basketball and tennis courts, a heated outdoor swimming pool, playgrounds, and paved paths for walking and cycling.
The park was established as a recreation and gathering space for the local community and grew over the decades as new facilities were added. The Fair Expo Center on the grounds has hosted major events over the years, including the Dade County Youth Fair and, at one point, an IndyCar racing series.
