Sarasota Woman's Club, Historical women's club building in Sarasota, Florida, United States
The Mediterranean Revival style building at 1241 North Palm Avenue contains multiple gathering spaces and features Tudor Revival architectural elements.
The Sarasota Woman's Club, founded in 1913 with 63 charter members, housed the city's first library until it became public in 1940.
The organization established local Parent-Teacher Associations and organized numerous educational programs, including book clubs and community lectures throughout the 20th century.
The building now functions as part of the Florida Studio Theatre, hosting regular performances and events in the Keating Theater space.
The foundation stone of this National Register of Historic Places structure was laid on January 1, 1915, marking the club's second anniversary.
