Inverrary Country Club, Golf course and country club in Lauderhill, US
Inverrary Country Club is a golf and country club in Lauderhill, Florida, with two courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. Both courses feature bunkers, water hazards, and multiple tee positions that offer different levels of difficulty.
The club opened in 1970 and quickly became a host for PGA Tour events through the 1970s and into the early 1980s. After those tournaments ended, it shifted toward serving local members and visiting golfers.
The club became a meeting point for professional golfers and fans who followed tournaments from the fairway edges. Today it is used mainly by local players who return regularly to play the courses.
The club has a practice area with a driving range, a chip and pitch zone, and putting greens that suit any level of play. Visiting on a weekday tends to mean fewer players on the courses, making the round more comfortable.
Much of the land used for the courses was drained from what had been wetland before construction began in the late 1960s. The water features on the courses today are what remains of that original landscape, shaped into play rather than removed.
