Bradley Observatory

Bradley Observatory is an astronomical facility at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, equipped with instruments for viewing and studying the night sky. The building houses a telescope under a central dome alongside a planetarium space with seating for presentations and sky observations.

The facility acquired one of its main instruments in the late 1940s, with the college deliberately choosing to keep it in America rather than elsewhere. This decision helped establish the observatory as an important center for astronomical education and research.
