James Flood Mansion, Brownstone mansion in Nob Hill, San Francisco, US.

The three-story residence at 1000 California Street features Classical Revival architecture with corner quoining and decorative pediments around the windows.

Constructed in 1886 for silver magnate James C. Flood, this structure remained intact after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake that destroyed neighboring buildings.

The Pacific-Union Club acquired the mansion following the 1906 earthquake, transforming the interior while maintaining the original brownstone exterior design.

Located at the intersection of California and Mason Streets, the mansion stands as the headquarters of the Pacific-Union Club with limited public access.

This building holds the distinction of being the first brownstone structure constructed west of the Mississippi River, using materials from eastern quarries.
