One Rincon Hill

One Rincon Hill is a residential complex in South Beach composed of two towers of different heights that together contain over 700 homes. The buildings sit near the Bay Bridge and form part of the neighborhood's modern skyline with a mix of apartments and townhouses.

The site previously held a clock tower that operated for decades before being replaced by development. A zoning change in 2005 made way for the towers that stand here today.

The South Tower features a LED weather beacon system that displays different light patterns to indicate various weather conditions for the Bay Area region.

The complex sits in an accessible location and offers convenient entry points from the surrounding streets. Being near public transportation and the waterfront makes it easy to reach and explore the area on foot.

Large water tanks sit at the top of the South Tower and function as shock absorbers to steady the building during strong winds. This engineering detail often goes unnoticed by people passing below, yet it plays an important role in keeping the structure stable.
