199 Fremont Street, also known as 300 Howard Street, is a 27-story, 111 m (364 ft) class-A office skyscraper in South of Market, San Francisco. Designed by KMD Architects (Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz), it was completed in 2000. The building is currently vacant.

The building was completed in 2000 as part of San Francisco's business district expansion at the start of the technology boom. It was developed to meet growing demand for modern office space in the city's growing commercial center.

Former tenants Fitbit and StubHub tied the tower to San Francisco's consumer-technology sector. In 2025 DivcoWest and Blackstone bought the building for $111 million, and by late 2025 it stood vacant, so its office floors are not open to visitors.

The tower stands at the corner of Fremont and Howard Streets in South of Market, a short walk from the Embarcadero BART and Muni station. As of late 2025 the building is vacant, so interior amenities are not in use; check access before visiting.

The building features exceptionally large floor plates that allow seamless space spanning multiple stories for major corporations. This configuration shows how office towers adapted to the needs of expanding tech companies at the start of the 2000s.
