Southern Oregon Speedway, Race track in the United States
Southern Oregon Speedway is a racing track in White City, Oregon, featuring a three-tenths mile oval clay surface with a gentle bank for side-by-side racing. The facility includes modern lighting, a large grandstand, and a high-tech scoring tower for hosting various racing events.
The speedway opened in April 1996, built by John Skinner at Jackson County Sports Park to replace an older local racing venue. In 2016, promoter Mike McCann took over operations for a ten-year period, bringing new energy and growth to the facility.
The speedway serves as a gathering place for the local racing community, where drivers and fans share their passion for motorsport. Events bring families and friends together to experience the energy and excitement of dirt track racing.
The track is easily accessible with parking and camping areas available without RV hookups. Food and drinks are sold at the venue, free WiFi is available, and credit cards are accepted for purchases.
Adjacent to the main oval are smaller tracks for Go-Karts and Micro Sprints where young and new drivers develop early skills on dirt. Many of the top drivers on the main circuit began their racing careers on these smaller courses.
