Pinecone Burke Provincial Park, Provincial park and nature reserve in British Columbia, Canada.

The 38,000-hectare wilderness stretches across mountains, old-growth forests, alpine lakes, and contains North America's largest freshwater tidal lake, Pitt Lake.

The park, established in 1995, encompasses territories traditionally inhabited by the Katzie First Nations who utilized the land's natural resources for centuries.

The Five Fingers alpine region has drawn mountain climbers since the 1920s, marking the beginning of recreational mountaineering in the area.

Visitors must carry their own drinking water, as no facilities provide it within the park boundaries, and food storage in designated caches prevents wildlife encounters.

Widgeon Slough forms the largest freshwater marsh in southwestern British Columbia, providing critical habitat for endangered species like tailed frogs and Vaux's swifts.
