Nevada's 4th congressional district, Congressional district in central Nevada, United States.
Nevada's 4th congressional district is a voting district that covers portions of central and southern Nevada. It includes the northern sections of Clark County, southern Lyon County, and several smaller counties in between, creating a large geographic area within the state.
The district was created after the 2010 census when Nevada gained an additional congressional seat. This redistricting reflected the state's population growth and redrew the boundaries to establish this new voting area.
The district represents a population mix of urban Clark County residents and rural communities across vast stretches of Nevada's central region.
You can check your congressional district by entering your address on the official government website. This also helps you identify your representative in the House of Representatives.
Although the district covers large rural areas, most of its population lives in a smaller region. More than 80 percent of residents are concentrated in the northern sections of Clark County, where Las Vegas is located.
