Tonopah Historic Mining Park

Tonopah Historic Mining Park is a park encompassing numerous original mining sites, preserved buildings, tunnels, and machinery from the era when silver was extracted from the ground. The grounds contain structures and equipment that show how miners worked and what the operations looked like during that period.

Silver was discovered in the area in 1900, which sparked the creation of major mining operations that quickly made the town a significant extraction center. The boom lasted for decades and fundamentally shaped how the region grew and developed.
