Burley, Commercial center in Cassia County, Idaho, US
Burley is a commercial center in Cassia County situated along the Snake River. The town sits at an elevation of about 1,270 meters (4,165 feet), with U.S. Route 30 passing through its downtown area.
The town was founded in 1905 and named after David Ellsworth Burley, a railroad employee. It became the administrative center of Cassia County in 1918.
The King Fine Arts Center provides performance spaces where theatrical productions, concerts, and community events happen regularly throughout the year. It serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors experience arts and entertainment together.
The town maintains fourteen public parks, an eighteen-hole golf course, and various recreational facilities for outdoor activities. Visitors can easily find places to relax and enjoy sports or nature near the downtown area.
