Wonderland Amusement Park, Abandoned amusement park site in Nankou, China
The incomplete structures included a medieval-themed castle and outer buildings spread across 120 acres of land near Beijing's Changping District.
Construction initiated by Thailand's Reignwood Group in the 1990s stopped in 1998 due to financial disputes with local authorities and landowners.
The abandoned park grounds transformed into agricultural fields as local farmers returned to traditional land use patterns.
The location underwent complete demolition in May 2013, leading to the development of Badaling Outlets shopping mall in 2015.
During its abandoned period, parking attendants remained at the site to manage vehicles of people who came to view the incomplete structures.
