Grand Villa Edmonton Casino, Casino in ICE District, Edmonton, Canada

Grand Villa Casino is a gaming facility with hundreds of slot machines and table games spread across multiple levels in downtown Edmonton. The venue connects directly to the adjacent sports arena through covered indoor walkways.

Grand Villa Casino Edmonton opened on September 7, 2016, built at a cost of $32 million next to Rogers Place in the Ice District. It replaced the adjacent Baccarat Casino, which had operated from 1996 until 2016 and was demolished in 2020. In 2019, Gateway Casinos cut operations to Thursdays through Sundays and major event days; the casino then closed in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and reopened in July 2022.

The casino's name recalls the Grand Villa Casino that Gateway Casinos opened on September 7, 2016, next to Rogers Place. It replaced the Baccarat Casino, which ran from 1996 to 2016 and was demolished in 2020; the site became the Fan Park tarmac and a small dog park. Three restaurants serve the 2,800 m² gaming floor.

The casino sits next to Rogers Place in the Ice District, with MacEwan LRT station just north of the arena. The Edmonton Pedway links it to four LRT stations: MacEwan, Bay/Enterprise, Central and Churchill. About 4,000 new parking spaces are being created in the district, with 5,000–10,000 more within a 5-to-10-minute walk.

The casino replaced the Baccarat Casino, which operated next door from 1996 until 2016 and was demolished in 2020. Its former site became a small dog park and the Fan Park, a paved event space for 5,000 people.
