Bloody Fall, Territorial waterfall in Kugluktuk, Canada.

The waterfall spans across the Coppermine River, creating strong rapids and eddies within a 25-acre park surrounded by Arctic tundra landscape.

The site received its name in 1771 when British explorer Samuel Hearne documented a conflict between Dene warriors and Inuit fishermen at this location.

Archaeological discoveries reveal continuous human presence spanning 3000 years, including Pre-Dorset, Thule, First Nation, and Inuit settlements near the falls.

Visitors can reach the falls by motorboat in 45 minutes, all-terrain vehicle in two hours, or through a five-hour walking trail from Kugluktuk.

The traditional fishing area near the falls, named Onoagahiovik in Inuinnaqtun, translates to 'the place where you stay all night'.
