Garghabazar Caravanserai

The rectangular stone structure measures 23.7 meters wide and 34.7 meters long, featuring multiple rooms arranged along corridors with arched entrances.

Built in 1681 during the period of flourishing trade routes, this caravanserai provided accommodation for merchants and travelers crossing through Azerbaijan.

The building incorporates architectural elements from the Albanian period, with symmetrical layouts and specific spaces designated for merchants, guards, and camel storage.

Located at coordinates 39.538436, 47.157204, the caravanserai contains two guard rooms, six merchant chambers, and large halls designed for housing camels.

The structure includes advanced sewerage systems running through the camel halls, demonstrating sophisticated engineering practices of the Karabakh region.
