Comilla Zoo and Botanical Garden

The facility encompasses 10.15 acres of land next to the Deputy Commissioner's bungalow, featuring animal enclosures and plant collections in an integrated environment.

Established in 1986 under the management of the district administration, this facility was created to provide recreational and educational resources to the community.

The gardens and animal exhibits serve as an educational center where local schools conduct field trips to learn about wildlife conservation and botanical sciences.

Visitors can explore the grounds daily between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with current exhibits including seven monkey species, bears, waterfowl, and a python.

The facility maintains both zoological and botanical collections on the same grounds, representing one of the few government-managed institutions of this type in Bangladesh.
