Brampton Jain Temple

The Bhagwan 1008 Adinatha Swamy Jain Temple is a religious center featuring intricate marble carvings and traditional Indian architectural design in Brampton. Multiple shrines inside are dedicated to Rishabhanatha, the first Tirthankara, showcasing carefully crafted details throughout the space.

This religious center was built in 2011 under the guidance of Bhattarak Charukeerthi from Moodabidri, India. It marked the establishment of the first Jain religious center in Canada featuring traditional Indian design.

This place serves as a gathering point for followers in the region, where daily prayers and religious festivals bring people together. The community celebrates Jain traditions here through regular ceremonies and shared spiritual practices.

The temple features a Manastambh pride pillar at its entrance, which is a distinctive architectural element found in only a few Jain temples across North America. This type of pillar is uncommon outside of India.
