Century Lotus Stadium, Sports stadium in Foshan, China
The Century Lotus Stadium features a grass playing field and stands that accommodate 36,686 spectators for football matches and various athletic competitions.
German architecture firm Gerkan, Marg and Partners designed this stadium, which opened in 2006 following a construction investment of 939 million Chinese yuan.
The stadium hosted international football matches, including a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying game between China and Myanmar national teams.
Visitors can reach the stadium through the Guangfo Shijilian public transit station, which connects to multiple transportation routes in Foshan.
