Guangzhou Railway Museum, Railway museum in Liwan District, China.

Guangzhou Railway Museum occupies the former Huangsha station site on Huangsha Avenue in Liwan District. Its indoor hall covers about 18,500 square metres and the outdoor yard about 10,500 square metres. On display are a JS steam locomotive, a DF4D diesel-electric locomotive, an SS6B electric locomotive, type 22 hard-seat coaches, a 25G dining car and a P1 boxcar.

The museum opened in 2022 and documents the development of railway technology in this region. The displayed trains and artifacts provide insight into this technical history.

The museum shows how rail networks connected the region and shaped its economy. The exhibits reveal the role these connections played for communities and trade.

The museum features clearly organized exhibition areas with informational signs for easy navigation. Visitors should plan time to closely examine the steam locomotives and railway cars on display.

The museum's outdoor section opened before the indoor halls, and rolling stock was moved onto laid track from December 2020. Among the exhibits is a P1 boxcar, P1358456, from the former Haikou depot of Guangzhou Railway; two earlier exhibits, a DJJ1 power car and a 25C soft-seat coach, were removed in early 2022.
