Mount Luofu, Sacred Taoist summit in Huizhou, China
Mount Luofu rises to 1,296 meters above sea level, featuring 432 peaks and 980 waterfalls spread across its extensive terrain in Guangdong Province.
During the Eastern Jin dynasty, Taoist practitioner Ge Hong established four meditation huts on the mountain, which later expanded into multiple temples.
The Temple of Emptiness and Wa Sau Toi temple on Mount Luofu maintain strong connections to traditional Chinese martial arts, including Dragon and Bak Mei styles.
Visitors can reach the summit via hiking trails or take a 21-minute cableway ride from the entrance to access the main viewing areas.
The Grotto of Vermillion Brightness marks the location where Ge Hong conducted alchemical experiments and, according to local tales, achieved immortality.
