Nanhai God Temple

The Nanhai God Temple is a maritime shrine in Huangpu featuring multiple altars, shrines, and traditional architectural elements dedicated to sea worship. This is the last surviving ancient Sea God Temple in China, located in Miaotou Village at the heart of Guangzhou. The site has weathered multiple demolitions and reconstructions while preserving a rare legacy of maritime worship throughout Chinese history.
