Huangpu District

Huangpu is an administrative district in southeastern Guangzhou that encompasses multiple neighborhoods with residential, commercial, and industrial areas. The area spans a significant portion of the city and connects older districts with newer development zones.

The district was expanded in 2014 when it absorbed the former Luogang District, taking on new administrative responsibilities. This merger significantly changed the area's structure and scope.

The South Sea God Temple remains an important gathering place with traditional wooden structures and historical inscriptions visible throughout. People come here to experience a space that has held spiritual meaning for the region for centuries.

Multiple metro lines and bus routes connect the area to downtown, with direct access to the airport for travelers. Visitors can move easily around this district and travel to other parts of the city.

A modern development project called Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City focuses on research and technology industries within the district. This initiative shows how traditional neighborhoods connect with new innovative spaces for business and learning.
