Dongguan TBA Tower, Commercial skyscraper in Dongguan, China.
Dongguan TBA Tower is a modern commercial building that rises 289 meters with 73 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels. The glass and steel structure houses extensive office spaces, underground parking facilities, and contemporary utility systems throughout.
Construction began in 2008 under supervision of Dow Corning Corporation and was completed in 2013. This five-year project represented a significant milestone in Dongguan's skyline development during the era of rapid economic growth.
The tower's name references the Taiwan Business Association and reflects commercial ties between Taiwan and mainland China. This international focus is visible in how the building serves as a hub for cross-strait business activity.
The building features modern elevators and climate-controlled areas throughout for visitor and worker comfort. Underground parking is readily accessible, and its central location in Dongguan makes it easy to reach by public transportation.
The design resulted from collaboration between Taiwanese firm Archiman Design Group and Liu Wei-Yan Architects, merging different design philosophies. This partnership reflected the cross-strait connections that the building itself represents in its name and purpose.
