Shaanxi Province Stadium, Sports stadium in Xi'an, China
The Shaanxi Province Stadium features an oval reinforced concrete framework structure with eight grandstand sections and a capacity of 42,383 spectators.
Initially named Northwest People's Stadium upon its completion in 1954, the facility underwent major renovations in 1996 and 2018 for national sporting events.
The stadium serves as one of the seven permanent home venues for China's national football team since 2012, hosting numerous international matches.
The complex includes an international exhibition center, extensive parking facilities, office buildings, technical areas, and multi-purpose fitness zones.
Four 49-meter-high lighting towers were added to the stadium corners in 1983, enabling nighttime competitions with specialized illumination systems.
