Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center

The Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center is a college complex on Xiaoguwei Island housing multiple university campuses. The grounds combine academic buildings with parks, research facilities, and spaces designed to support student life.

Development started in 2003 with the first phase opening in 2004, bringing together several universities on the island. The complex has grown steadily over the years to accommodate the expanding educational needs of the region.

The Lingnan Impression Park displays traditional southern Chinese architecture and regional crafts throughout its grounds. Visitors can observe local artisans and experience how students engage with these heritage practices.

The complex is easily accessible by public transport, with bus routes and subway stations nearby. Within the grounds, visitors can rent bicycles or walk to explore the different areas.

The Guangdong Science Center sits at the western end of the island and functions as a major research facility. This center blends advanced technology with public learning and welcomes visitors beyond just students.
