King George V Memorial Park, Hong Kong

The park opened on March 29, 1954, after restoration from its wartime state when it served as an unofficial burial ground during Japanese occupation.

The park includes Victorian-style lamp posts, Chinese banyan trees, and traditional stone walls that represent the fusion of British colonial and local elements.

The facility includes a regulation-size soccer field, children's play areas, and designated spaces for physical activities such as tai chi and exercise.

The park houses the only kindergarten located within a government park in Hong Kong, operated by the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children.
