Sai Kung West Country Park, Country park and national park in Sai Kung Peninsula, Hong Kong
The Wan Tsai Extension section spreads across 123 hectares of natural terrain, featuring coastal landscapes and mountain paths along the northeastern shore.
The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department transformed this former borrow area into a protected extension of Sai Kung West Country Park in 1996.
The park maintains several remote Hakka villages, including Pak Sha O, which preserves traditional architectural elements and rural lifestyle patterns.
Visitors access numerous camping grounds, mountain biking trails, and hiking routes through public transportation services connecting to Pak Tam Chung entrance.
The restored natural forest combines introduced tree species with native flora, creating habitats for Chinese Pangolins and Masked Palm Civets.
