Sheung Yiu Folk Museum, Hakka heritage museum in Sai Kung District, Hong Kong.
The Sheung Yiu Folk Museum spans 500 square meters within a restored village complex, featuring eight traditional houses built on elevated platforms.
The Wong family established this Hakka settlement in the late 19th century, operating a lime kiln that generated substantial income through construction materials.
The museum exhibits nine galleries containing farming implements, period furniture, and household items that reflect traditional Hakka village life.
Visitors can reach the museum by taking bus routes 94 or 96R to Sheung Yiu station, followed by a 15-minute walk along Pak Tam Chung Nature Trail.
The preserved six-meter-high watchtower at the entrance served as a defensive structure and observation point for the former village inhabitants.
