Bǎizhàng jì

Bǎizhàng jì is a waterfall in Wencheng County that splits into multiple cascading sections as it drops down mountainous terrain. The water flows over distinct rock tiers, creating a dramatic vertical structure that rises approximately 365 meters.

The area has been shaped over centuries by this natural waterway, which carved deep valleys and rock formations into the landscape. Water erosion has continuously reshaped the geographic structure of Wencheng County.

The waterfall sits within Liu Bowen's Hometown Scenic Area, where visitors encounter traditions tied to local martial arts and customs. The setting blends natural beauty with the region's cultural roots and daily heritage.

Visitors can reach several viewing points through maintained trails that offer different perspectives of the water. The period from April through July brings the strongest water flow and clearest visibility for observation.

On sunny days, the water mist forms natural rainbows that shimmer in the humid air. The surrounding area also shelters many native plant species adapted to the moist conditions.
