Grainau

Grainau is a municipality in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district positioned at the base of the Zugspitze massif and comprises five separate villages: Obergrainau, Untergrainau, Hammersbach, Schmölz, and Eibsee. The area spreads across mountain terrain marked by forested slopes and open meadows that rise toward higher peaks.
