Aller Park

Aller Park is a 130-hectare recreation space in northern Wolfsburg with natural areas, sports facilities, and entertainment zones arranged around an artificial lake. The grounds feature cycling and walking paths, playgrounds, sports courts, and several restaurants overlooking the water.

The park was created in 1969 with the construction of Allersee Lake and evolved from a basic water project into a major regional destination. Its design emerged from the idea of building a recreation space that connects industry and nature.

The grounds host concerts, sports competitions, and local festivals that gather visitors from across the region. On weekends and summer months, the park becomes a hub where families and athletes spend their time together.

The park is easily accessible from multiple parking areas, and visitors find restrooms, restaurants, and barbecue spots throughout the grounds. Equipment for water activities is available for rental and pathways are well-developed for both walking and cycling.

The grounds feature dedicated protection zones for rare animal species and visitors can help plant new trees as part of conservation efforts. These hands-on opportunities make the site more than just a recreation space.
