FOUR, Mixed-use skyscraper complex in Innenstadt, Germany.
FOUR is a mixed-use complex in central Frankfurt with four interconnected towers ranging from 105 to 233 meters tall. The structure combines residential units with office space, shops, restaurants, and service facilities across its towers.
The site previously held the Deutsche Bank Investment Banking Center, built in 1971 and demolished in 2018 to make way for this project. The new complex emerged on the cleared land as part of Frankfurt's urban renewal efforts.
The complex brings together homes, offices, and public spaces, showing how Frankfurt is changing from a finance hub to a mixed urban area. Placing apartments next to workplaces shapes how people live and move through this part of the city.
The site spreads apartments, offices, retail, restaurants, childcare, and wellness areas across all four towers. Visitors and residents can reach different sections on foot since they are connected by public pathways.
The four towers feature diagonal bevels and rotate like windmill blades to maximize sunlight exposure. This design creates visual connections between the structures and gives the complex a dynamic appearance.
