TaunusTurm, Office skyscraper in Financial District, Frankfurt, Germany
TaunusTurm reaches 170 meters with 40 floors, featuring a facade made of bright natural stone arranged in two-floor sections with large windows.
The construction project, initially named Kaiserkarree, began in April 2011 after several delays caused by economic changes and opened in February 2014.
The tower's name connects to the Taunus mountain range north of Frankfurt, integrating local geography into modern urban development.
The building provides 60,000 square meters of office space, housing major companies including J.P. Morgan, McKinsey & Company, and Mizuho Bank.
The structure operates with innovative heating and cooling systems that reduce energy consumption by 30 percent compared to conventional methods.
