Emsdettener Venn is a nature reserve covering around 342 hectares of wetland in North Rhine-Westphalia, with moorland and diverse habitats. The area displays typical features of heathland and bog with characteristic plants and rich bird populations.

Emsdettener Venn was placed under nature protection in 1941, covering roughly 341.7 hectares west of Emsdetten's town centre in the Steinfurt district. The reserve later became part of the European bird protection area "Feuchtwiesen im nördlichen Münsterland".

The reserve lies within the EU bird protection area "Feuchtwiesen im nördlichen Münsterland", designated for wet grassland birds. The Lütkebach drains the northern section toward the Frischhofsbach, and the L 583 runs along the southern edge, the L 578 to the northwest. Visitors reach the area on foot or by bike from Emsdetten.

The reserve lies west of Emsdetten's town centre, bounded by the L 583 to the south and the L 578 to the northwest. The Lütkebach drains the northern section toward the Frischhofsbach. Paths cross wet meadow and moor ground, so waterproof footwear helps.
