Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum

The Muzeum Biżuterii im. Iliasa Lalaounisa is a jewelry museum at the base of the Acropolis housed in a modernist building from the 1930s. The collection contains thousands of jewelry pieces and decorative objects that showcase different art forms and craft techniques.

The museum opened in 1994 when a renowned jewelry designer transformed his former workshop into an international center for jewelry studies. This transformation made the space an important location for preserving and understanding jewelry art.
