Stadium of Delphi

The stadium features stone seating arranged in multiple tiers along a rectangular track measuring 178 meters in length and 25 meters in width.

Built during the fourth century BCE, the stadium underwent several modifications and reached its final form during the second century CE with stone seats.

The venue held the Pythian Games, where athletes from Greek city-states gathered to compete in running events and other athletic competitions.
