Mont Blanc du Tacul, Alpine summit in Haute-Savoie, France.

Mont Blanc du Tacul rises to 4,248 meters within the Mont Blanc massif, featuring steep granite faces and permanent snow fields on its northern slope.

The first recorded climb occurred on August 8, 1855, when Charles Hudson led a team of seven mountaineers to successfully reach the summit.

The mountain serves as a training ground for alpinists preparing to climb Mont Blanc, representing a significant milestone in mountaineering progression.

Climbers typically begin their ascent from the Aiguille du Midi station, following the northwest face route through technical sections marked by fixed ropes.

The summit offers three distinct climbing paths that merge at 4,100 meters, creating a natural junction point before the final ascent section.
