Mont Charvet

Mont Charvet reaches an elevation of 2,538 meters in the Bornes Massif, presenting views across the surrounding valleys of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The mountain ranks as the sixth highest peak among 242 summits in the Bornes Massif, with a prominence of 208 meters above neighboring terrain.

The mountain region maintains traditional Alpine practices, with local shepherds continuing seasonal grazing patterns established through generations.

Hikers can access the Refuge de la Pointe Percée - Gramusset mountain shelter, located 1,507 meters north-northeast from the main summit.

The peak offers clear views of Pointe des Verts, situated 1.2 kilometers northeast at an elevation of 2,555 meters.
