The shepherds of the Sallanches valley have used the Doran pastures on the slopes of Quatre Têtes for traditional cheese production for many centuries.
The mountain dairy farms of Doran maintain ancestral cheese-making methods from June to September, preserving the agricultural heritage of the region.
The hiking trail from Burzier parking requires approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes of walking with an elevation gain of 1405 meters over 13 kilometers.
The Doran refuge, built by scouts, enables visitors to observe reintroduced bearded vultures and discover local Alpine flora species.
