Morfontaine Golf Club

Morfontaine Golf Club is a private course in northern France that spreads across natural terrain with heather-covered fairways and strategically positioned bunkers set within woodland. The main Grand Parcours plays to about 6,400 yards at par 70, while the Vallière course adds 9 supplementary holes for additional rounds.

The club was founded in 1913 when Armand de Gramont, 12th Duke of Guiche, converted an old polo ground into a golf course for his social circle. Tom Simpson's design approach demonstrated that challenging courses could be built with minimal earth movement.

The club operates as a private membership community where traditions shape how members interact and spend their time on the grounds. It reflects a distinctly French approach to leisure and social gatherings among its circle.
